Threaded inserts

Threaded inserts are great fasteners that dramatically extend the life of a hole by constructing a metal threading point instead of using wood frequently. The outer shell of a threaded insert allows it to lock in place once put in the hole & its inner cavity is threaded to allow for the insertion of fasteners. Threaded Inserts are suitable for ultrasonic, heated or cold press-in installation into most grades of plastic. It is designed to reduce the risk of cracking of installation material. Threaded inserts are used when an object is too thin to support the full length of a threaded fastener. Threaded inserts are used to repair stripped threads in plugs & other parts or to create a new thread in a hole for fastening applications. Threaded inserts are most commonly used in Instrumentation, Telecommunications, and Other plastic case assemblies. Threaded Fasteners are available in size, thread, material, shape, and finish/coating.
